We didn’t do as much biking this year as last year, but one Saturday we made it out to the Mickelson Trail, starting at the Rochford trailhead, and the Carsrud family came along for the ride. Here’s the story in pictures.

Hi,
I stumbled upon this post while searching for info on the Mickelson Trail. Is there a restaurant/gas station or some other place to get food in Rochford?
Thanks!

Rochford is pretty sparse! No gas station that I know of, though I think there is a little country store which might also serve as a restaurant, but I’m not sure about that one.

Great Pics. I’ve been doing some snowshoeing on the trail, but I am ready for warm weather so I can get out my bike.

Thanks Josh. I’ve been doing some winter biking myself, but I’m also definitely looking forward to spring again and biking without studded tires.
